For teens and adults in school or looking for a job we come up with personalized systems to help manage your calendar, email, communicate with potential employers or school staff, and to find and access supports in your community,
Learn Employability Skills
Getting a job can feel overwhelming. 1:1 sessions can address how to look for a job that would be a good fit for you, finding courses to help you gain the necessary skills, networking, how to dress, writing a resume, contacting potential employers, learning workplace etiquette, and practicing interview skills.
Decrease Anxiety
Anxiety can impact your overall well-being and daily life. In one-on-one sessions we can address anxiety by helping you prioritize self-care, build a supportive community, and find joy in your everyday life. We explore different evidence-based strategies to find what works best for you.
Build Independence
For adolescents and adults who want to live on their own and support themselves, but need help getting there. Goals might include learning about public transportation and community resources, improving nutrition, shopping for groceries, creating and balancing their budget, paying bills, or making appointments.
Improve Social Confidence
Helping you find your people by interacting authentically in a society that is built for neurotypical people. Goals may include determining the qualities of a good friend, how to ask someone on a date, engaging in social interactions outside your comfort zone, unpacking confusing ‘social norms’.
Develop Executive Function Skills
Executive functions include starting and completing tasks, cognitive flexibility, planning, controlling your impulses, problem solving, emotional regulation, time management, self-monitoring, and goal setting. These skills can be developed using behavior analytic strategies.
